Maplewood recorded a 77-0 shutout over Cambridge Springs in the French Creek Valley Conference.

 

Union City is 18-3 on the season after sandwiching blowout wins over Saegertown (53-20) and Fairview (57-19) around their loss to Hickory in the D10AA Dual Tourney semi finals.

 

North East continued their finest season in  years with a 69-6 rout of Sheffield.  The Pickers are 8-3 following the win.

 

In a key college dual meet, Coach Don Henry's Gannon Knights stepped up from Division II and knocked off Division I Slippery Rock, 20-17.  Gannon improved to 5-5 on the season with the win and top ranked 275-pounder Lyneil Mitchell stayed unbeaten by pulling out an 8-6 overtime win against Bob McKillop.
