Indian Valley Milestones (from Mike Milliken)

The team set a new school record for dual meet wins in a season with 16 wins and 5 loses 
Bedelyon set a new school and soph record for wins in a season with 37. Also tied the soph. record for falls in a season with 20. 
Adam Will broke the freshman record for wins (29) and falls (18) 
Jeremiah Will tied the school record for consecutive wins with 29 and the junior record with 35 wins. 
Nate Knepp tied the soph record with 20 falls in a season 
Total team falls 157

 

Wayne Fordoski, coach at St. Marys, coached his 250th career victory recently.

 

Lewistown recorded their 400th win in school history on February 18, 2005 with a 36-19 win over rival Indian Valley.

Lake-Lehman concluded its regular schedule with a 13-12 record. This was Coach PhilLipski’s 16th consecutive winning season as a head wrestling coach

Longtime Hanover Coach Terry Conover won his 500th dual meet as a head coach.  His overall record is 500-195-3, including a 489-189-2 mark at Hanover. Congratulations to Coach Conover.

Wyalusing's Matt Fisk (125) -- as of end of the dual meet season -- the team points are final numbers, but the wins & falls are still going:

Jim Snyder of Lewisburg won his 100th career win Thursday, February 10th.

Tom Ward, Canton head coach, also won his 100th with a 40-20 victory over Northeast Bradford, Feb. 10th.

Upper Perkiomen head coach Tom Hontz won his 200th dual meet over Kiski at the PIAA Team Championships Friday, Feb. 11.

John Hettes set the Dallas school record for most wins with 107. The previous record was held by Perry Coolbaugh, the first Dallas wrestler to break 100-wins. Perry is now serving our country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Milton's win over Warrior Run Thursday (Feb. 3) gave Bob Greenly and assistant coach Jerry Derr  their 200th career win

Lake-Lehman's Matt Dragon's fall at #152-lbs against Crestwood was his 150th win. This is a WVC record. He now is Lake-Lehman’s winningest wrestler. Congrats, Matt!

2/2   Methacton's  47-24 win over Upper Moreland insures the 32nd straight winning season.  Wow!

Tyrone's Terry Tate logged his 76th career fall for his 128th win to pass Thad Westley to become the schools' all-time win leader.

Plumstead recorded its first-ever win over Church Farm School.

Boyertown Coach Bruce Hallman (in his 24th season)  garnered his 300 th win Saturday, January 29, against Pottsgrove.

Coach Bob Lorence wins his 300th.. 1/26/05 Plymouth Whitemarsh 49 Cheltenham  18.

District 6 Hall of Fame - 2004-2005 (from Mark Westley)

On Friday February, 4th 2005 Lower Merion High School and its wrestling program will be honoring Dick DiBatista by dedicating its wrestling room in his name.  The ceremony will commence at 6:45 pm adual meetnd will be followed immediately by the Lower Merion/Harriton varsity match.  Friends and fans of Mr. DiBatista are urged to attend.

Bob Bubb elected Distinguished Member to National Wrestling Hall of Fame in Stillwater, OK

Stan Zeamer to receive Order of Merit from National Wrestling Hall of Fame

General McLane wrestling has reached a milestone. The program recorded it's 400th win  against Franklin on Dec. 30th at the GM duals. The school's record stands at 401-207 since it was implemented in 1961.  

Coach Tim Mulholland was resonsible for nearly 35% of those wins in only 12 years as Head  Coach. 
The team is off to an 8-3 start under new Head Coach, Ryan Cook.

Congratulations to Central Dauphin wrestling for their 500th win on December 18th. The Rams are now 502-228-6. They are 6-0 currently under head coach Jeff Sweigard.
